WHY BECOME A MEMBER?

With the information provided by MFSG, member companies can:

> Maximize sales efforts

> Increase profit potential

> Control past due balances

> Reduce bad debt losses

> Process orders and new
accounts faster

MFSG coordinates the activities of eight industry segmented discussion groups where credit and/or financial executives meet in open forums to gather and exchange historical trade payment data on mutual customers. This exchange provides the credit executives with information which will enable them to reduce past due amounts, reduce bad debt losses and process orders and new accounts faster. These meetings also encourage the building of relationships and networking with other group members. The administration and production process of the data collected and disseminated is accomplished through a program developed by MFSG, which has been perfected by over 30 years of success in the automotive industry.

All group meetings, with the exception of the Canadian Group and the European Automotive Credit Group (EACG), are held in major U.S. cities with many of the meetings being held on consecutive days, so multiple meetings can be attended in one trip. With the exception of the EACG, Original Equipment and SEMA groups, the member companies must be a subscriber of MFSG to participate in the credit group meetings. The following paragraphs will briefly outline each group.

MFSG has expanded its credit discussion group activities outside the automotive industry. MFSG has recently begun to administer a credit discussion group in the polymer, plastics and resin industry.
